just 3 more:
1. Congratulations to my friend Jeremiah for headlining techmeme, albeit briefly. Ever since he moved over to Podtech he’s been blogging at such a hectic pace (5 posts/day) — i just dont know how he does it. I’m sure he’ll continue creating significant content over at his blog.
2. CK! is now running her own book club (a la Oprah!) on MarketingProfs’ Daily Fix. I’m sure it’ll be a ton of fun. All you have to do, is join and read. Here’s how it works:
#1 Kick-off: Every 2 months a new book is announced through an Author Q&A circulated via the MarketingProfs newsletter and posted right here at MarketingProfs Daily Fix blog. The first 30 people to sign-up for each segment receive a free, author-signed book–but an unlimited number of people can take part in the club.
#2 Read: Members are given approximately 5-6 weeks to read each book (and to allow time for mailings).
#3 Group Review: Through an online review area we’ll discuss the book’s themes, ask questions of the authors–and one another–as well as rank the book. I’ll announce the date that group review starts here at the blog and via e-mail notifications.
The first book they’re featuring is Citizen Marketers by Ben McConnell and Jackie Huba.
3. David Armano has gathered thoughts from the marketing community on “the most significant event/aspect of 2006 in regards to marketing, advertising or user experience?”
Here’s the link to the slideshow.

Congrats to Jeremiah and Armano, indeed. Thanks for plugging the Book Club. We’re off to a great start…almost 450 members in 48 hours and on every continent (save Antarctica).
You’ll have to come read along with us…yes, there will be a quiz. Just kidding :-).
Thanks again for all your support.

I’d definitely love to participate.
Mack,
Sometime down the road! By which time I’m sure we’ll also be able to add the definitive guide to community marketing from you 🙂
